Outlook Problem

After a recent reinstall, my Outlook refuses to find any e-mails. When I click on send/receive there is no reaction whatever.
Import doesnt work either.

Suggestions please!

Have you set up your email account again?

Maybe try right click taskbar.properties.Start menu. customize. Make sure e-mail is ticked and Outlook is showing in the dropdown bar at the side of it.

I tried that, oldbeefer2. It wont let me do it. It says reinstall, which I've tried as well, several times, and also says there may be a registry problem.(!)

Buteman, that all checks out OK

Are you clicking Tools, Options in Outlook and then going from there?

ob2 I clicked Tools, Options, and then clicked on Mail set up, clicked on E-mail accounts - no reaction.

Hmm. That should take you to the wizard, so it does look as though something is corrupt. Is the CD the one you used originally? Can you borrow another to try that??

I have both MS Office 2003, & 2007 - same problem with Outlook whichever one I try. I have emails safely backed up, but cannot reach them with Outlook or OE - that's the main problem
