I have just installed Office 2003.

How do I change thinks so that e-mail is delivered to Outlook. Easy if you know how I'm sure.

Thanks everyone.

Internet Explorer, Tools > Internet Options, Programs tab and select Outlook from the drop-down list.

Thanks very much.

Sorry to be a pain but how do I move address book over?

Cheers.

Open Outlook. File > Import and Export > Import from... etc. That's from Outlook 2K, but should be similar.

You import the e-mail account settings and e-mails the same way.

Due to my own ignorance I am sure...

There appears to be no send button in Outlook. Have I missed it or not installed it?

Thanks

There`s an icon on the main toolbar about central to the screen. Or go to Tools>Send & Receive then select the appropriate option.

If the icon isn`t there, then the standard toolbar is missing so right click on a spare area of the toolbar and select standard OR go to View>Toolbars and select standard.

Did everything else work out OK?

Not a day of unalloyed success.

The inbox still appears to be with OE. I did however import the address book and folders from OE. I'm sure that I have just forgotten to tick something. Any thoughts?

Thank you for your interest and assistance.

If you mean that Outlook Express is your default mail handler - Open Outlook then Tools>Options and the "Other" tab. Tick the appropriate box.
