A few days ago my hard drive strated playing up so I imported all my e-mails and contacts to Excel using the wizard in Outlook. When I tried to import them onto my new hard drive my contacts had names but no e-mail addresses and all the e-mails were there without e-mail addresses either. Any idea what went wrong or if I can get them back.
Ok, I have actually set my old drive up as a slave and haven't formatted it yet so it should all be there. I have found the .pst files using search but when I try to import them using outlook I can't see them. According to search results they are in Documents and Settings\default\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. However, when I go to default there is no folder labelled Application Data. Any ideas?
