I could switch back to my yahoo account but I don t know how to change over to it.

Any help gratfully received.

I don't know what version of Windows you're running, but have you tried doing a System Restore, to roll the computer back to a date/time before the problem started?

I can't guarantee this will work, but it could be worth a try. You won't lose any data, but you will lose any software that you have installed since the restore point.

I did try, but I only went back a couple of days... maybe I need to go back further maybe a week or so.
I will try again thanks for the reply, I see how I get on.

Thanks

Be sure you choose a date *before* the problem started.

I tryed the restore and it would nt have it, not its refusing to boot up at all...takes about 10 attemts to fire up....I think it may have had it??

that should say now its not rebooting, this is not because of the restore attempt i think its somthing very wrong? Tried a disk clean up etc would not do that either. Is very slow may be a hard drive problem. I have tryed booting from the start screen (when is shows) on the message start from last setting that worked but to now avail. Any thoughts greatfully recieved

If you can get to Safe Mode go
Start>Run>chkdsk /f

System Restore is also best run in Safe Mode

I would also advise backing up any important documents immediately.

Excellent, will try that thanks
