Outlook - filter potential spam etc

  DocP 12:08 06 Dec 2006

Like most, I've been inundated with spam recently. "Adding to Blocked senders list" doesn't help - I must have hundreds of these, and imagine they only serve to slow the system down.

Can I configure Outlook so that an eMail is posted to my Inbox ONLY if my Inbox already contains mail from that sender? And divert all other mail to another folder that I can peruse at leisure.

That way I could at least know anything in my Inbox was welcome.

click here for a guide to using Outlook spam filters; it will allow you to filter by address in your contact list.

Should have added I think it will take up to 6 or 8 different e-mail address's.May only be my imagination but I am sure that I am recieving less junk mail than normal since I started using it.
