Hi there, I have just joined the forum tonight.
Recently I changed from dial up to Broadband with AOL.
I still have OE but don'y use it. AOL browser comes to the fore each time and I now use that.
1. Which is best OE or AOL?
2. I prefer OE.
3. Can I change back to using OE?.
4. Is the change advisably and very easy?

I prefer Aol, but thats the way I have always known!.........
Try and become accustomed to new ways, Aol has devotees and enemies, but as a devotee I am glad I don't have to bother with OE.

All emails sent or received including recently deleted ones, are all a click or too away......
I use a named folder kept among other data for all downloads that I might want to keep.

There are ways of rejecting most of Aol's background and using IE and OE as you once did, but why risk bother and stumbling when it is all there and more. Aol doesn't live happily with mutilated software.

They both work so it is up to you to decide which you want to use.

You can use both if you want to.

I should have added that it is easy to configure OE to work with AOL mail (imap).

Go to the AOL home page and look through the keywords, you will find instructions there.

Thanks everybody.
I'll decide what to do in a few days.
I used to be indecisive and I just can't make up my mind!!
