outlook express time stamp problem

Messages I send from Outlook Express appear in the recipients inbox dated 14 hours earlier than the date that I actually sent them. What makes it more strange is that the correct time is shown in the reams of code that accompany the message.

My computer is set to the correct date and time.

Can anyone advise what I can do to correct this?

I haven't checked this, but maybe the time that is being seen as 14 hours earlier (BTW, is it the sent or received time?) is being set by one of the servers on the way (either the first one or the last one that it touches).

That is the odd thing, all of the times listed as it passes through various servers are correct. It is only the time shown in the header information received by the recipient.

Sorry I truncated my reply. It should have read;
It is only the time shown in the header information received by the recipient that is incorrect.
