When receiving (small - total 240kb) jpeg attachments in Outlook Express, I keep getting the message "OE has removed the following unsafe attachments from the e-mail..." I use Norton Anti-Virus, but there is no mention in the message of N A-V having anything to do with the blocking process. The photograph attachments in question are displayed below the text of the message, but they cannot be opened.

In OE> Tools> Options> Security> remove the tick from 'Do not allow attchments to be saved or opened that could contain a virus'.

In Outlook Express 6 the default settings is to prevent attachments from being opened. If you go to Tools/Options Security tab you can uncheck the box for this option.

You are quite right it is nothing to do with NAV,
