Outlook Express instead of Windows Live Mail

I have a Dell XPS Laptop running W7 with Office 2010. I would like to use Outlook Express which I know is not available on W7.I have Office 2003 which I think has Outlook Express in the office package. Can I use this on W7 instead of Windows Live Mail.

Outlook Express was an integral part of the download of earlier versions of Internet Explorer, essentially for Windows XP. It isn't available as a separate download and isn't part of Office 2003.

Office 2003 includes "Microsoft Outlook", an earlier version of Outlook which will be in your Office 2010.

I have just had that dilemma...

I found Windows Live Mail to be the perfect solution. It looks like OE6 and set up for accounts is just the same.

Try Windows Live Mail, you may be pleasantly surprised like I was yesterday.

Just to add Outlook 2003 in W7 or Vista will not save your password details to your e-mail accounts.
