I want to set up another identity in Outlook express to deal with work. I have set a new identity up and all the settings are the same as the first identity (pop3, smtp etc). I can send a message but cannot receive any, getting the following message "There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.virgin.net', Server: 'pop.virgin.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Invalid', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92". I type in the password I used when setting it up so what am I doing wrong? Help.
Hi LAP, sorry I didn't get back but working silly hours. I checked a few settings, also my 'host' settings and all seemed ok then it started working. I think it may have been a host problem. Thanks for your help. Baldeagle
