outlook express cc

helow all out there, when sending mail via outlookexpress there are three boxes to fill in . the middle one has cc on it what do i put in this and what is it for thank you windowfitter

It is short for Carbon Copy. If you want to copy your message to others then put their e-mail addresses in the cc box.

If you click On Vie and select All Headers you will see another box - bcc. This is for Blind Carbon Copy. If you enter an e-mail address in there they will receive a copy of the message but won't see the other e-mail addresses that it has been sent to.

I meant 'on View' not 'On Vie'.

cc = carbon copy. You put another email address in there.

If you click on it, you will also get the option bcc = blind carbon copy. The recipients won't see you have sent this one.

CC = Carbon Copy

BCC= Blind Carbon Copy

You only use these if you want to send a email to more than one person,

Eg/ CC is a Carbon Copy of the original email that will be sent to another address,
