Outlook Express 6

Ooops done something - When connected to broadband via speedtouch I open Outlook Express and send/receive, my broadband then shuts down..
I re-connected and repeated this several times, but OE will not send/receive it shuts down broadband connection.
Any ideas please.

In OE Accounts (Tools > Accounts > Properties > Connection tab) ensure that you do not have "Always connect to this account using" ticked.
In OE Tool > Options > Connection > Internet connection pane click 'Change ' button and ensure that "never dial a connection" is selected.

It may be something as simple as checking in Outlook Express > Tools > Options > Connection Tab and remove the tick from ‘Hang up after…...’.
