just changed over from toucansurf to sky broadband. tried putting my new sky email address into outlook and this is whats coming up. The host 'pop3.sky.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'pop3.sky.com', Server: 'pop3.sky.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D.. any advice would be welcome .. thanks
It's based on GMail, and it's true that it won't respond to an email client unless you activate that feature in the account settings as described in the link "Clapton is God" posted. However, it is compatible with external email clients once you've done that.
