I have Outlook XP client running on XP Home and am trying to be able to work connect to Exchange server 2003 via the internet (HTTP).The 2003 version of Outlook client, the Exchange Server setting's Connection tab has an option to tick to do this.I can not seem to find the setting on my XP Outlook client that I can tick to access Exchange server via HTML.Would anyone know where this setting is in the XP version of MS Outlook?Or do I need to upgrade my Outlook to 2003 in order to be able to do this?many thanks in anticipation of any suggestions.
The IT manager running the network can advise me if I am running Outlook 2003 fat-client but he is not familiar with Outlook XP/2002.
Ticking this off; no way found via Outlook XP/2002 client to connect via HTTPs to Exchange server.Self-resolved by installing Outlook 2003 and changing settings via Control Panel, Mail, etc.
