Outlook emails - keeps asking for network password

I recently changed from OE to Outlook
Started out ok, but recently when trying to download emails I keep being asked for Server, user name & network password. I type in my server details, email address & email address password & after 5-10 attempts it downloads my messages
I am on a standalone laptop running XP Pro
How can I set my pc so it does not request the password

I experienced the same some time ago. I simply did a system restore to before it occured and that was it.

This has been happening for a couple of months
I will have made numerous changes to my system since then
So I do not want to system restore to a copuple of months ago in case I lose other settings added

Thanks for the advice
I was hoping it was going to be tick or untick a box in Outlook settings
Can anyone shed light on this approach?

I'm still having problems with being asked for Server, user name & network password when checking emails in Outlook. I type in my server details, email address & email address password & after 10-20 attempts it downloads my messages. Keeps asking me every 5 mins on auto email check
I am on a standalone laptop running XP Pro
How can I set my pc so it does not request the password. I have 2 email addreses, both with Orange & both checked at the same time, one as wanadoo which has this problem & one with orangehome which checks emails without a problem. Can anyone advise how to resolve - driving me mad!!!!!!!!!
