Outlook email problem

I have tried to set up my partners email on Outlook. Our Isp is Tesco broadband. We both have Yahoo accounts and we both have accounts on my domain, which is hosted by 1and1. Everything works normally with my Outlook settings, but when she tries to send/recieve she gets an error message "550: Must be authenticated" She can neither send or receive in Outlook. Any ideas?

In e mail accounts try from the accounts page select more settings and on the general tab tick My outgoing server requires authentication.
