Outlook email fonts keep changing in signature

Hi
I have set up a signature in outlook 2003 setting it as Arial font size 10. However, whenever I insert this below the text of my email, it inserts as Times New Roman size 10. On further investigation, this only happens if I press enter to leave a gap between the last word of my text and my signature. If I do not press enter to leave a line blank, then the signature correctly inserts as Arial font.

I do not have any stationary selected (set as non>, and I have not created the signature using advanced edit - just normal. All the font settings I can find in OUtlook have been set to Arial 10 and I have chosen to "always use my fonts"

This only happens on one of my PCs - the other one works fine - both running Outlook 2003.

Please help - it is driving me mad!
