Outlook and cursor irritation

Hi - not earth shattering but annoying. When I'm using email in Outlook 2003, the normal arrow-shaped cursor now has the egg timer attached to it and the two of them vibrate vigourously (is this some sort of mating ritual, I wonder?).

Still works if I click on something, but has anyone any what's happened?

This could be related to something else (i.e. not Outlook) - see click here & click here.

If the above doesn't help, consider doing an Outlook repair click here. Backup your emails (click here) before doing this just to be on the safe side. G

Crossbow7 - thank you for that. I'll remember it in case I have any future problem.

I bought a new mouse - not because of this, I hasten to add, but I was using a temporary one following the demise of my normal one. So far, so good!
