Outlook 2010 - html only 4 words a line emails

I am sending out html emails in Outlook 2010 (W7) with a reasonable line length of 18 words a line, but they arrive at the recipient reduced to 3 or 4 words a line, even with people who use html for all their emails.
Is there a special setting I can use?

It's dependant on the settings in the email client at the recipient's end - so I don't think you can do anything about it. They could do something simple like widen the receiving window.

Thanks, but their receiving window is wide enough with my email only occupying the 1st 40mm & the rest - say 200mm blank.

Is this just one particular recipient or everybody you send to?

Quite a lot of recipients even with the same ISP, but my emails are OK to other W7 & Outlook 2010 recipients.

As you say you are limiting your mails to 18 words per line - so you are presumably using your new paragraph (Enter) button between each line. This can cause problems at the other end where the settings will be different. It's much better to write your email and allow the window to dictate the new lines - and the same will then happen at the recipient's end.

I was actually using the ruler to limit my RH margin, but guess that's the same thing. So, I will try your suggestion.
Thanks Sea Urchin, for being so persistent! Much appreciated!

It worked! Thank you again Sea Urchin!

Glad to hear all is sorted. Thanks for the feedback.
