Outlook 2003 - Password continuously required

Hi,

My wife uses Outlook 2003 to pick up her email. OS is XP Home,SP2.

She has a BT internet account.

Problem is, despite the fact that everything is set up correctly within Outlook and she can receive and send without problem, most of the time, sometimes she is continuously asked via a dialogue box for her password (same one which is already set up in Outlook) and it can take numerous attempts before it is accepted.

It's very frustrating.

Any ideas?

If this only happens some of the time it is likely to be a fault with the mail server - I get this with Virgin from time to time.
