If I remember correctly when using Outlook 2000/XP to override the blocking of certain attachment downloads , you could go into –Regedit>>Software>>Microsoft>>Office>>Security>>Then type in New>>>String Value>>Level1RemoveDword Value>>>exe, scr, ink, url, zipSo to override the security in Outlook 2003 are the registry key alterations the same?Does/has anyone had any experienced this.I want to be able to download any attachments I like, having AV that checks all my Inbound & Outbound mail seems a bit of an overkill. Thanks
Thanks VOG,I don't suppose you have got a list of the most common attachments that Outlook Blocks? Thanks
click here but I don't know which are the commonest.
I use "DetachOL", which I find excellent. You can select which attachments to allow through. Very easy to do, and no fiddling with the registry.click here
