Outlook 2003

  fonkets 21:05 12 Jun 2007

Hi. I just upgraded from office 2000 to 2003. In outlook 2000, my inbox was arranged by 'sender' and in a nice grey background with black text. Nuce and easy to see.

In 2003 the same arrangement is white boxes with light grey lettering and is a pig to see.

How do i change the inbox colours? I have looked everywhere without fruition.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not too sure but maybe try....

View - Arrange By - Current View - Customize Current View

Click on the Sender column header. This should toggle.

Sorry Santos. It only colours individual emails and not the sender's boxes in the inbox. Nice try though.

Hi just like fonkets I also can't find anything to make the print on screen BLACK but mine has always been black and I am using 2003 like you. I will keep looking and let you know if anything transpires.

I think that the background colour for your inbox is set according to the Windows display properties. If you right click your desktop and go into properties, appearance, advanced and select windows and change the colour to grey and make sure that the font is black then your inbox should be black on grey. This will affect all windows applications.

I have tried this and I think this is what you want. You can always change back if it isn't right.
