Outlook 2002 rules upgrade button greyed-out

Another silly one from me tonight. On my desktop I need to do a rules upgrade to createautomatic replies/certain names/specific message [I'm on holiday}

The message description ""have server reply using a specific message"" is not in the optuions list, so I assumed I could do a rules upgrade - but the button is greyed-out.
I've searched Microsoft KB to no avail...........This is Office Pro 2002 sp3, Outlook 2002 on XP pro sp2 updated.

Help please?

Maybe there is another way of telling selected e.mail senders [ie not spammers] that I am on holiday. I just need a special message to respond to selected addresses in my address book.

I have a recollection of 'out of office assistant', but do not have that in Outlook, and I think that was a blanket device for all incoming messages.
