PCI Simple Communications Controller is a modem

what type of modem do you have in your PC?

If you do not know the download and run Everest Home Edition click here it will tell you all the equipment fitted .

Have a look round in your home if you have a Modem Driver CD or maybe a Driver CD.

if you tell us what make/model of computer you have may help and also which Windows please.

There are thousands of modem drivers unique to each modem. Its not just the case of 1 driver for all.

Worth having a look in you C:/ Drive on your HDD in the Programme Files and there may be a set of drivers Pre-installed there ?

A new modem can be bought for a little £6 ish but fitting one can if your not weary inside a pc a little tricky.

If you're using broadband and don't need the modem you can either ignore it or remove it.
