Orange & Outlook Express

I use Freeserve as a back-up dial-up, in case my broadband ntl goes down.

Now that orange has taken over Wanadoo, I was required to re-register. The principle result of that has been that OE is now "courtesy" of Orange, and I've been foisted with an additional pane at the foot of the screen. How can I get rid of this intrusion?

Do you mean the Preview Pane?, if so, start O/Express go to 'view' then 'layout' then untick 'preview pane' box.

Cheers Chris.

thanks to all respondents.

It's not a preview pane, neither would I call it "branding." It's an Orange search-bar pane, and I don't want; it's intrusive.

Do you think removing the branding would help, or is it something else I should do/

try this:
go to "view" then "layout" and uncheck info pane

Fine; that worked a treat.

An option I've not noticed before.
