Orange dongle as a wireless access point

  fredinjorox 18:25 28 Dec 2008

Hi, I have a Orange dongle which works OK plugged into one laptop and using an adhoc connection to another, but I have to have the dongle enabled laptop on for the other to connect.
Is there any way that I plug it in to a wireless access point/router (or something similar) and it will broadcast a signal throughout the house so that I can connect to it with 2 PC's and Skype phone.

Living in a rural area with no chance of land line this is the only option I have for broadband.
