Over the last few days I have had difficulty in downloading e-mails to Outlook Express, although Mailwasher Free displays them 'instantaneously'. At each failed try, an error message appears "pop" "orangehome.co.uk" with a reference "0x800CCC90". Is this a general problem - or one specific to me? I contacted Orange about ten days ago, when the connection failed completely and for seven days after it worked normally. (Since typing the above I have tried OE again - and it worked perfectly, suggesting a temporary fault - 'lines busy'?)
Jackcoms : Thank you for your help. Altering 'tiscali' for 'orange' my computer would not allow me to complete all the actions required, so I downloaded "Registry Smart" from the 'links' part of the webpage - for a small fee. Time will tell if I was wise!
