Open Office Spreadsheet

I was using a spreadsheet when I highlighted some rows and columns which the became much larger than the standard, i.e about 2 inches wide and about 3/4 inch wide. Now each time I open a new spreadsheet I get this large format. I don't know how I managed to do this but can anyone tell me how to get this back to the default size please.

You need to reset the Default Template, full instructions on how to do so are given in the OpenOffice help files, micemews.

and it worked...

Start with the spreadsheet programme, (Calc), closed.

Open "Calc".

When it has opened set the size you want it to be using the slider control bottom right.

Close Calc.

Having just done and tested this, when subsequently opening Calc a new sheet opens at the size set by the control.

I'm using Win 7 64 bit and OpenOffice version 3.2.1

Hope this helps,

Thanks MAJ & Simsy. problem solved. I must have moved the slider control in error when opening a new spreadsheet and subsequently all new spreadsheets opened were set at the large size. I have moved the slider back to the centre now and everything is ok.
