open office how to create a bar chart help please

hi all, i've been asked by my nephew if i can help him create a bar chart complete with labelling using Open office.

(He is using Open office because he cannot find how to create a bar chart using the Microsoft works program that came with his pc)

I've found the chart wizard in the Draw part of open office but it only tells you about the different types of chart you can create.

I've tried going to insert/chart and a chart appears on the page but I cannot find out how to alter this chart into the one I want or label it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, just looked in Microsoft Works and it seems that you can create a bar chart in there. I've pointed this out to my nephew and am leaving him to it.
