I normally use it on my laptop for a dial up connection, however ive just tried it on my descktop pc with 2 meg broadband.
The speed is 10% quicker if that helps you to make your mind up?

If your objective is a faster computer then I recommend that you uninstall any programmes you don`t use regularly, keeping a record of the place to go and reinstall if you need to. This also applies to programmes you`ve got on disc and have hopefully kept.
After that I`d say, depending on your Internet usage, go to Start, Control Panel, Internet Options, and clear Cookies followed by Clear Temp files. Then perhaps once or twice a month Defrag the system.
I had Onspeed and did`nt notice any speed increase in my dial up days, so why should it be any different now?
