On a web page I want to display an object in a separate area of the page when the mouse pointer is moved over another area of the page. I keep reading that this can be done but only when the mouse is clicked (onmouseclick) and the object is hyperlinked to. It doesn't matter if the object appears in a table cell or in a frame, as I can organise the contents of the page into either a table or a frame. So I want to move the mouse over one image, and as a consequence of doing so, have another image appear. Any suggestions?

Yes you can do this. There is no need to "click" the mouse. Actions like "mouseover" or "mouseout" work just as well.

What you need to use is a <div> tag. Layout the page using <div> tags and then associate the mouse behavior with the position that the mouse is on the page.

If you use Dreamweaver there is a very good Tutorial in the Help files.

If the above does not help then come back to this Forum and I will provide you with some more guidance.

The important thing is that what you want to do is achievable.
