*.one file extension

To have proof of purchase the vendor has emailed me with something that has *.one file extension. Googling has been less than helpful. Anyone know how to open it, please. I have Win XP SP3 and Office XP.

This'll be a MS One Note file. There is no viewer for them - you need a copy of the program. You could download a 60day trial of Office 2007 - then junk it afterwards (yuck).

Of you could ask them to send you the document in a proper standard document interchange format - such as pdf. This is what I would do!

Thanks both of you. Had tried various downloaded software solutions but to no avail so did as DieSse suggested which persuaded the vendor to send me it in *.doc form.
