Olivetti PC33

  SDJ 11:29 26 May 2003

Any historians out there?
I need to format the Hard Disk of an Olivetti PC33 and need a code to unlock the security within the bios and cant remember what it is.
I know it is an olivetti code and not one set by the user.

Any suggestions will be extremely gratefully received.

Would be most grateful if anyone has any info on this.

Is there any special reason you need to get into the BIOS in order to format the drive?

Sorry for delayed response..... yes I need to format the drive but cant unlock the security within the bios as I need this code.

What I meant was - why do you need to go into the BIOS to format the drive?

It wont let you boot from a floppy unless the security is off

whip the lid off and see if there is a password reset jumper, many older pc's had them
