old pci graphics card upgrade

My old pc has asus a8n-sli mobo has pci geforce series 6(6600) graphics card. Is it possible to fit a more update card for better gaming thanks D

Due to your A8N-Sli antique socket 939 & nForce4 chipset ,any updating of newer GX card will be a waste of time & money I'm afraid.

The CPU just can't cope, would suggest you save up & get a new PC.

Sorry but just not possible as no one makes PCI graphics cards any more and even a second hand one would just not be very powerful anyway. Things have moved on dramatically in the last 10 years.

The GeForce 6600 is a first generation PCI-express card not PCI.

I still got an A8N-Sli Premium ( working but in a drawer now) which I used to run 2 x Gtx7800 in Sli nearly 10 years ago.
