Old Google mini destop toolbar needed.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my operating system from scratch }:-\

On my (now wiped) old system, I used to have a small widget in the main toolbar at the bottom of the screen that could give me a quick Google search facility which could then be expanded to fill the screen.

I've tried all sorts of searches (in Google!) and can't find it. Anyone know where I can find that widget?

(Presence in the Help Room limited as I'm busy reloading loads of stuff - so may not catch responses quickly.)

On XP and Firefox.

I have the one for fitting in the Firefox browser; but the one I want just slotted into the main toolbar at the bottom of the screen along with the other toolbar options.

I think that you are referring to the Google Deskbar which is part of Google Desktop but may be available separately.

Thanks Woolwell.

That was the one!

Installed and running.
