None show but they are still there (but flagged as deleted). If you compact them the nag will go away.

So how do i get rid of them ?

  VoG II 14:04 13 Feb 2009

File > Folder > Compact all Folders.

If you compact the folders you will 'get rid'.

To explain -

When you delete an email, it doesn't get deleted - it just gets marked "not to be shown". This is because your email folders are in fact database files, and that's how databases work.

When you run Compact (as above), it runs through the database file, and actually strips out the "not to be shown" (deleted) entries.

So compacting does save space - it saves it by really deleting the old emails.
