Ok here we go...I need some miracles! ;o)

G'day again all

Before I explain my requirements, here's the basic synopsis. My site (click here) is looking rather flat and boring. Time for a change I thought! So I've begun redesigning it (click here) with a funky new look using Dreamweaver 4.

What I want to know is this:

The entire thing is made up of 3 nested tables, one for the banner, one for the navigation bar and one for everything below.

The bottom table has been divided into 2/3 cells, the left 150x470, the right either a 600x470 or a 600x50 over a 600x420.

I want the right bottom cell to be scrollable as I don't really want to change the table sizes around (I like them like that!).

I know I can do it if I set the whole thing up as frames, left up to the bottom table's cell divide and top under the nav bar. I dont really want to use frames if possible though as they involve to many frameset changes etc and I prefer working in this layout.

Is this possible?

I'll add other queries soon!

Read it but cannot fathom out how to do it in mine. Here is my code for the table under the navigation bar. This consists of the structure of the table and it's background images only. What do I need to add?

<div align="center">

<table width="750" border="0" cellpadding="10" cellspacing="0">

<td background="Images/150x470.jpg" width="130" valign="top" rowspan="2"> </td>

<td height="50" width="580" valign="top" background="Images/600x50.jpg"> </td>

<td valign="top" height="420" background="Images/600x420.jpg"> </td>

********************END CODE**********************

It goes in <DIV>

<TD vAlign=top width=580 background="Ben Avery's Website_files/600x470.jpg">

<DIV align=center style="width: 580px; height: 420px; overflow: scroll; border: 0px ; ">

<P><IMG src="Ben Avery's Website_files/logo.gif" width=542 height=57 border="0"></P>

window.open = SymRealWinOpen;

style="width: 580px; height: 420px; overflow: scroll; border: 0px ; "

But you will need to adjust the sizing of the width and height to your site.

I've tried to copy and paste both from above and from your link but neither of them seem to work.

Would you happen to own a copy of Dreamwaever to look at the actual page ifI send it to you and see if you can get it to work please?

I can see what your idea does and it's what I want to be able to do, but I just cant get it to work!

Thanks to AndySD I've now got my site working and decided to upload it as is and add updates later.

Cheers Andy!
