Office XP - buying

whats the difference between office xp standard and office xp standard teacher/student edition? they both come with word, excel, power.., and outlook but the difference in price is about 200 pounds or more. I read something about it not having updates or something? please help

The student/teacher edition can only be bought by people in Full Time Education, people who have Children in Full Time Education and Techers.

There is no difference in the product supplied.

Office XP Standard does not have Access in it.

If you do not meet the conditions of the licence for the cheap student edition you are not entitled to buy or use it.

Yes, think you might be right there - think there are restrictions to the type of course you have to be doing to be classified a student though.
