hi...i am trying to download a invoice template from the microsoft site however it tells me that it cannot see offie installed on my pc...but i have it on there....! any thoughts Thankyou

Works OK on mine in Office XP. Did you get the bit saying that Cookies must be enabled, and the bit to enable Active X.

The template downloaded and opened up in Word automatically.

File Save As, change the "File Type" to Word Template (.dot) and it will store it with your other templates.

Very strange. Have you managed to save it to your hard drive & got it to open in Word? If so try renaming it in Windows Explorer first and then open it again in word. You might also check the file properties aren`t set to read only.
