Office Product Key

I need to repair office as Word has started re-Installing again every time it's used.

The Office 2003PRO CD starts but doesn't show the usual Install screen - only the CD contents as a file/folder list.

The Setuppro icon (selected from the list) does start the repair/reinstall page but entering the Product Key gets an "Incorrect Product Key" message - which it isn't.

Can I check somehow what Key is in the PC?
Thanks....

Moorie and Taff.....many thanks...
I used Belarc and it advises that the Key is as I put in (and I've checked again)....

I don't think I can uninstall from the Control Panel as I seem to remember it asks for the disk - so any ideas anyone..?

Regards....Montypuss

Are you using a legitimate Office Pro disc or a copy? If it`s an official disc you should have the correct key with it on the packaging. I suggest you backup your data and do a fresh install of Office.

using the 'delete Office' option instead of trying to repair the installation?

The run the installer again.

They're generally actually on the cd itself with Office / Works.

No they are NOT. Genuine CD Keys never appear on the CD itself.

This was probably another case of typing a 1 as an I, or 8 as a B etc etc
