A lot of people have not upgraded to the newest version of Office and I have. The question I have is how do you save a document such as one made in Excel or Word in a format that can be read by those who haven't upgraded preferably the same as Office 2003. This would save people the time it takes to download the compatibility pack.
One other thing, is anyone having trouble opening attachments in Outlook 2007? J.B.
You can also set it as the default by going to the office button, clicking word options in bottom right, then go to save on the right hand side and under save files in this format choose word 97-2003 document. Same for excel.
No problems with Outlook, I just got thru installing it this morning and am trying to set Office up so that documents that I send and recieve can be read without any problems occuring. Is there anything else I have to know before I start usung Office 2007 in anger. J.B.
that documents can be saved in a different format in Office 2007, Microsoft has released a free compatibility pack, so that users of earlier versions of Office can open, edit and save Office 2007 files in their native format.
