It appears, from the screenshot you posted, that the top margin is set to zero, RobTheOrganGuru. If it is not easily adjusted in the way I described in my last post, or you can not manually drag it down using the mouse, then I suspect that the default template may have become corrupt. To repair the default template, you need to close Word and search the hard drive for all instances of "Normal.dot" (without the quote marks). When all instances of the Normal.dot file (there may be more than one Normal.dot file) have been found, delete it/them. When you reopen Word a new, clean Normal.dot file will be created automatically, hopefully curing the problem. Normal.dot is a hidden file, so make sure you are searching and viewing hidden files as well.
