Office 2000 Missind msi file

I have recently suffered several crashes on my PC after which Microsoft Word will no longer load. I get a message saying file data1.msi is missing and that I need to insert the installation disc.

The software was preloaded when I bought the PC and the company have since gone out of business.

Anyone have any ideas other than me having to splash out and buy a disc?

I am running Windows 98SE and Microsoft Office 2000 Premium

Thanks

Unless you are using all of the high powered features of MS Office, I would suggest a look at OpenOffice Version 2

PS if you want it on a CD and don't have braodband, mail me via the envelope by my name and I will send it to you.
