To find out where the folders are on your machine / account, in OE6 go to Tools, Options, Maintenance tab and click on Store Folder.
From Store Folder, you can also relocate the files to somewhere better (esp. for backup purposes). Somehere under My Documents isn't a bad place. That way, when you back-up your documents (which, of course, you do regularly), your emails will be back-ed up as well.
