OK to connect to a flat screen?

  wotbus@ 15:29 08 Oct 2004

I'll re-phrase that. Base unit with this card fitted and would like to buy/connect a flat screen. Are there compability issues? Thanks.

Sorry if it's a goofy question but if I can't simply connect a flat screen to the base unit then it's a no-no. Cheers.

A flat screen computer monitor (LCD, TFT, etc.) can simply replace your 'normal' CRT monitor. The only thing you might have to look out for is that some flat screen monitors need a digital video signal so, unless your video card has a digital output, make sure that whatever monitor you buy has an analogue input (same as a 'normal' CRT monitor).

The MX400 works fine with both my and my sons TFT screens.

P.S. I don't understand all the jargon, but the card you've mentioned appears to have a digital output.
