My windows XP laptop was running fine until yesterday when out of nowhere, i tried to boot up the laptop, a message in bios came up and said ntldr file is missing, please press any button to restart.

I kept restarting the laptop but the same message came up and i could not get to windows.

Even though now i have re installed windows, do you know what that error message was and what it was caused by.

Thanks in advance
