NTL Firewall blocking Virgin Media anti virus

  SPIKEYTR6 13:33 15 Apr 2007

My PC was attacked by "something'. While it was in the shop getting repaired,NTL was taken over by Virgin Media. Being a broadband client, when I tried to install the Virgin Media anti virus and firewall, it would not install. Called Virgin and they said that I have to firstly unistall the NTL Firewall. It is not in Programs or the add/remove programs. I asked him how to remove it. he said he would give me a number to ring but costs a pound a minute !! Sod that.

So how do I uninstall this NTL Firewall ?

If you have a NTl Or Virgin Phone Included,Just dial 150 its free.

I think it was called Netgear or something like that,But it usually came with its own anti-virus program,Its not in your quick launch is it,If it is it has to be switched off,I forget the name of the folder that it is in,Just type NTL into your search bar and see what comes up.
