A Compaq PC of a friend of mine has just decided that it will not boot up, the error "no NTADR" comes up on switch on and tells him to press any key to reboot. On rebooting it comes up with the identical error, so the PC never boots up, it is running on Windows XP home.

Would anybody have any ideas as to a solution to the problem?

He has recently done an F10 reload of the software due to some problems and it then ran fine for a couple of weeks until this happened.
