Following all the oter threads last week, I have not been able to access My postings since last Thursday. Thought I'd leave it over the weekend only to find the same problem again today. Wait about a minute while the system tries to find the page then....:

The page cannot be displayed
Explanation: The Web server connection was closed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Try the following:

Refresh page: Search for the page again by clicking the Refresh button. The timeout may have occurred due to Internet congestion.
Check spelling: Check that you typed the Web page address correctly. The address may have been mistyped.
Access from a link: If there is a link to the page you are looking for, try accessing the page from that link.
Contact website: You may want to contact the website administrator to make sure the Web page still exists. You can do this by using the e-mail address or phone number listed on the website home page.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Technical Information (for support personnel)

Error Code 64: Host not available
Background: The connection to the Web server was lost.

I did try the recommendation - to refresh the page - but the same thing happens each time.

Perhaps, just by logging an error the problem will myseriously correct itself?

  mattyc_92 10:22 22 Aug 2005

You can, but it can take up to 5 minutes.... I am always recieving error messages (timeout errors and "can't access database" errors)....

You have to keep pressing "Refresh" on your browser's toolbar and eventually, you do get into My Postings.

Just be paitent......

So the site is back up again - what happened today?

  Al94 19:06 22 Aug 2005

All areas seem to be working fine - fingers crossed!

  Forum Editor 19:07 22 Aug 2005

We had to take the site offline for urgent server maintenance. It was unexpected, and there wasn't time to warn you - many apologies.

  Al94 19:23 22 Aug 2005

I assumed it was something like that - no need to apologise - was it connected to the recent problems as it seems to be working well at the moment?

  johnnyrocker 19:30 22 Aug 2005

it did rather seem to be building up to todays issues, fingers crossed.
