Novatech xp and driver disks.

This is a bit of a daft questin but can anyone tell me if Novatech supply a windows xp installation disk & the driver disks with their laptops and desktops. im thinking of buying from them but never used them b4. Many thanks for any feedback.

They do supply windows and driver disks for XP. You can phone them and confirm this before purchase if you wish and if it was me I would do this.

However they do not do the same with Vista, its not their fault according to them, they say its Microsoft stopping them doing that as it would cost them extra to supply a Vista disk though you can get a cheap Vista disk at the time of purchase if you wish.

It's very unlikely that Novatech actually make their laptops, much more likely that they are made in the far east and Novatech simply stick a label on them. I have bought motherboard bundles from Novatech and they come with a driver disk. If you have any queries, simply email Novatech. I've always found them to be very helpful click here

The last laptop I bought from Novatech came with 2 drivers CDs - one for vista and one for XP.

This laptop came without an operating system installed as I prefer the flexibility of installing my own and having the OEM disk to hand; when I last asked them, I was told that they don't provide a full disk with a pre-installed OS but rather they install the OS and give you a form of recovery disk.
